While experts have long known that lack of sleep can increase risk of heart disease, they're now theorizing that a late bedtime can do the same. A Japanese study of 251 men, found that those who went to bed after midnight had harder arteries. Researchers aren't sure if that's because people who stay up later a likely to engage in unhealthy practices like smoking and overeating or if staying up late upsets the internal body clock, which may lead to a decreased ability to deal with stress. Regardless, if you're a night owl it's smart to give going to bed earlier a try.

For myself, sleepless nights

For myself, sleepless nights cause many issues for me. It seems that when I don't get a good night's sleep, I find my whole day is thrown into a frenzy. My body is tired and lethargic, my mind is tired and often my mind spins wildly out of control. So it must have bad effects on heart too, right?
Have you ever tried using

Have you ever tried using soothing music or a CD for restful sleep to help you? I highly recommend them, and I've found the music to really soothe away my tension from the day.
