Don't Ignore Hot Flashes


Hot flashes are more than an annoying side effect of menopause. They may also indicate that you’re at higher risk for heart disease. A study at Weill Medical College of Cornell University found that women who had hot flashes during a two-week period had significantly higher blood pressure. If you have experience hot flashes frequently, ask your doctor to monitor your blood pressure regularly.
