Most of us choose exercise for the health benefits. But a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine found that there exercise offers many emotional benefits, too. When researchers prescribed one to three hours of exercise a week to 430 post-menopausal sedentary women, the women all reported improvements in their quality of life, including energy, overall health, and emotional well-being. Just one more reason to get moving!
