Vinegar Can Help You Feel Full, Faster


A study reported in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that subjects who dipped white bread in vinegar reported they were less hungry over the course of two hours than those who ate the white bread alone. In addition to feeling less hunger, those who ate the vinegar had insulin and glucose levels that were 25 percent lower, which indicates they were storing less fat. Researchers suspect the acetic acid, a main component of all vinegars, plays a roll. So the next time you're looking for a tasty but diet-friendly dip, marinade, or salad dressing, choose vinegar!
