I can definitely walk a mile a day to lose 10 pounds in a year! I think it is very encouraging to read. I'm motivated to go and buy some new walking shoes now!

It is very encouraging to see

It is very encouraging to see that walking is such a beneficial exercise for your heart, your waistline and stress levels.  What's so great is that most people can do it, you don't need money for a gym membership or special equipment, and that it's a great activity to do with the family so everyone gets healthy together.  It's has great physical and emotional benefits.

Well, I've been told that

Well, I've been told that even briskwalking helps you lose weight - just walking around 30 minutes in the morning. It also helps me to clear my head and think about what I would like to accomplish during my day.
