September Heart Health Fair in Cleveland Area

Sister to Sister, in partnership with EMH Regional Medical Center, hosted a heart health fair on September 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Midway Mall in Elyria, Ohio.

EMH Regional Healthcare System

Free heart health screenings were provided to the first 250 attendees and will include:

  • Blood pressure
  • Cholesterol
  • Blood glucose
  • Body Mass Index(BMI)
  • Waist circumference
  • Triglycerides
The screenings were part of "The Good, The Bad, and The Forgotten Fat" initiative, a national campaign focusing on women, heart disease, and triglycerides sponsored by an educational grant from Abbott.
