Larry King Cardiac Foundation and Cleveland Clinic Health Fair

Sister to Sister, in partnership with the Cleveland Clinic, hosted a heart health fair on Monday, October 1 from 12:00 to 3:00pm at the Cleveland Clinic. The fair was held under an outdoor tent at East 100th St., across from the Crile Building. For additional information, please contact Geri Clay, Community Outreach Manager at 216.444.1811.

Free heart health screenings were provided to the first 150 attendees and included:

• Blood pressure
• Cholesterol
• Blood glucose
• Body Mass Index(BMI)
• Waist circumference
• Triglycerides

Larry King was the featured moderator at the Cleveland Clinic's 2007 Medical Innovations Summit. This year's Summit was "State of the Heart: Cardiovascular Technologies" and featured industry experts in the fields of cardiac care, top venture investors and network correspondents, as they highlighted new technologies, economics and trends in cardiovascular technologies. Also featured was the Cleveland Clinic's annual selection of the "Top 10" health care innovations, interactive surgeries and in-depth debates on industry challenges.

Larry King participated in Sister to Sister's heart health screenings at the Cleveland Clinic.
