Learn to Spot Lean Meats

Getting heart healthy doesn't mean you can't eat meat. Just choose leaner cuts of beef, such as round and sirloin cuts that do not have a marbled appearance. Remember to remove the skin from chicken, turkey, and other poultry before cooking. Also, stick to grilling, baking, and broiling your meat.
