Sister to Sister is proud to have been part of the Boston community since 2004. We are now partnering with the Cardiovascular Wellness Service of Brigham and Women's Hospital to provide heart-health screenings, educational seminars, events, and more to the Boston area on a year-round basis.
Sister to Sister, in partnership with Brigham and Women's Hospital, is proud to announce Smart for the Heart, a comprehensive wellness program to empower women to improve their heart health.
The program is based on its Health Risk Assessment (HRA), the premier questionnaire for calculating your personal risk for heart disease, with immediate results and comprehensive recommendations to improve heart disease risk factors.
There is an extensive variety of tools to help achieve your health and wellness goals, including weight loss, healthy eating, stress reduction, and smoking cessation.
We hope you will join us in Smart for the Heart, and to share this new resource with your friends, family and co-workers. Please visit Smart for the Heart to sign-up. It’s quick and easy, and all of your personal information will be kept strictly confidential.
To help individuals achieve their heart health goals, the Cardiovascular Wellness Service offers “Keeping our Hearts Healthy” – a quarterly series providing education and support to help our local community improve their overall health. Each event is designed to help individuals understand their cardiovascular risk and become empowered to reduce any risk factors they may have.
All sessions are held at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on the 3rd Floor “Porch” of the Shapiro Building at 70 Francis Street, Boston, MA.
To register, please call 1-800-BWH-9999 or email bwhteleservices@partners.org and provide your name, contact information, and name(s) of seminars that you plan to attend.

Sister to Sister is proud to have been a part of the Boston community since 2004 by hosting our Women's Heart Health Fairs. From 2004-2009, more than 15,000 women attended our events while over 5,000 women were screened for heart disease risk factors!
We love all those who attended our Heart Health Fairs and made these events a special community where women could come together and support each other's efforts to be heart-healthy!
Sister to Sister offered free cardiovascular screenings with immediate results and counseling interventions, cutting-edge medical information by top experts, and lifestyle pros who demonstrated simple cooking, activity, and eating changes that can lower heart disease risk dramatically. Raffles, door prizes, massages and giveaways added to the fun.
Check out some of the memorable highlights here!
Even though Sister to Sister is not currently hosting these large-scale live events, we now offer screenings for heart disease risk online at Smart for the Heart. In partnership with Brigham and Women's Hospital, Smart for the Heart offers a Health Risk Assessment (HRA), the premier questionnaire for calculating your personal risk for heart disease, with immediate results and comprehensive recommendations to help improve any risk factors for heart disease.
