I started this blog in February 2007 to journal my weight loss triumphs and challenges. I've learned a lot along the way and I've really enjoyed sharing my experiences while getting tips and support from others.
I've struggled with weight my entire life. Having been down this weight-loss road before I focused on learning how to maintain, even when I was still losing. I was 233.8 pounds when this journey began.
I lost 75 pounds and was 13.8 pounds from goal in 2008 when I got pregnant with baby #1. Baby #2 came along 17 months later. I started my post-baby fitness comeback in June 2011 and after 5 years, 8 months and 25 days I FINALLY made goal in November 2012. Now I'm learning all about maintenance.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband, son (born in spring 2009) and daughter (born in fall 2010).
