The goal of this web site and Sister to Sister: The Women’s Heart Health Foundation (“Sister to Sister”) is to educate women about heart disease. Thus, the content of the Site is provided for informational purposes only. The names, trademarks, service marks, and logos of Sister to Sister belong exclusively to Sister to Sister and are protected from reproduction, imitation, dilution or confusing or misleading uses under national and international trademark and copyright laws. All other trademarks, services marks, and logos (including third-party product names) are the property of their respective owners. The use or misuse of these trademarks is expressly prohibited and nothing stated or implied on this Site confers on you any license or right under any patent or trademark of Sister to Sister or any third party.
5. User Submissions, Forums and Public Areas
USE OF SISTER TO SISTER’S FORUMS AND PUBLIC AREAS CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
Certain places within the Site, such as forums, blog pages or other public areas, may allow users to post comments or communications that are publicly accessible and non-confidential. The content and communications posted within these areas is largely controlled by our users. Sister to Sister has no control over such content and cannot guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any such content or communications. Sister to Sister also reserves the right to disclose any information necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post, or to remove any information or materials in whole or in part.

6. License Grant
If you make any submission to or communications on the Site, you automatically grant, or warrant that the owner of such content has expressly granted Sister to Sister, a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, unlimited, nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, create derivative works from, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform, and display the communication or content material in any media or medium, or any form, format, or forum now known or hereafter developed. Sister to Sister may sublicense its rights through multiple tiers of sublicenses.
7. Rules for Posting Questions and Comments in Forums and Public Areas
Sister to Sister does not control the content or communications of any of the public areas on the Site. However, Sister to Sister reserves the right to monitor public areas to ensure the content and communications in such areas are within the spirit of the purpose of the web site and do not otherwise violate this Visitor Agreement. Specifically, the following actions will constitute a material breach of this Visitor Agreement:
Users who violate these terms shall be liable for any claim, action, damage or harm caused to Sister to Sister, the user and any other injured party. Furthermore, Sister to Sister may terminate the account of any person who violates this Visitor Agreement and the rules provided above.
8. Enforcement of this Visitor Agreement
In the event that any of the terms of this Visitor Agreement have been breached or any rule stated above violated, Sister to Sister reserves the right (but is not obligated) to do any or all of the following:

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY OTHER DISPUTE WITH SISTER TO SISTER IS TO DISCONTINUE YOUR USE OF THE SITE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY, OR THE LIABILITY OF OUR AFFILIATES AND SUBSIDIARIES FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE USE OF THE SITE EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES THAT YOU PAID US DURING A ONE-YEAR PERIOD FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE AT ISSUE.

18. Jurisdiction & Choice of Law
You expressly agree that exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute with Sister to Sister, or in any way relating to your use of the Site, resides in the courts of the State of Maryland and you further agree and expressly consent to the exercise of personal jurisdiction in the courts of the State of Maryland in connection with any such dispute including any claim involving Sister to Sister or its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, contractors, officers, directors, telecommunication providers, and content providers.
This Visitor Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland without respect to its conflict of laws principles. If any provision of this Visitor Agreement is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Visitor Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any of the terms and conditions contained herein shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or any other term or condition.

19. Changes to this Visitor Agreement
Sister to Sister reserves the right to modify this Visitor Agreement as necessary. We will indicate the most current date of any change and encourage you to consult this Visitor Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Site indicates you accept such changes. Sister to Sister reserves the right to discontinue or add web site functionality to support the organizations’ goal of raising awareness of heart disease in women.
